Customer Service Coordinator

As the Customer Service Coordinator Associate, you will be responsible for handling all customer interface including sales development, rate negotiation, logistics planning, dispatching and service oversight. What youll do on a typical day:

  • Handle daily load activities by conversing with customers, carriers, shippers, and receivers
  • Accurately enter and maintain up-to-date information on a continuous basis; work quickly to resolve problems that may develop on an order or load
  • Negotiate rates with customers and carriers on a daily basis to maximize margins and provide customers with competitive pricing
  • Develop a sustained customer base through lead generation, development, and superior customer service
  • Ensure that all carrier documentation is completed and received prior to carrier utilization
  • Qualify customer credit prior to securing business
  • Support receivables effort as necessary on delinquent accounts

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, youll need:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience in customer service
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Itd be great if you also have:

  • Experience in transportation field
  • Strong project and time management skills with ability to multitask and manage customer expectations
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and persuasion skills with good problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
