DAK Americas is a globally competitive supplier of Terephthalic acid (TPA) - Monomers, Polyethylene Terephthalate Resins(PET) and Polyester Staple Fibers (PSF) for the western hemisphere. The Operations Supervisor works a 12 hour rotating shift and manages the operation on an hour-by-hour basis to ensure Operation?s goals are being met, plans and schedules daily work based on reasonable expectations to complete the required work, and reports compared to goal/plan. The Operations Supervisor is also responsible for identifying safety, quality, or equipment issues, addressing these issues with a high sense of urgency and securing additional resources when appropriate (Area Owners, Technical, Maintenance, etc.)

  • 5 + years of experience in Manufacturing

  • Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis


  • Experience with Windows Office products



    • PREFERRED


    • BS in Science or Engineering


    • 2 + years leading/supervising team


    • Fibers or Polymer Experience


    • Textile Industry Experience


    • Nonwovens Fabric Industry Experience




 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
