Position Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be results driven, motivated by technical challenges and have excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills as well as demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills. The primary responsibility of this position is to improve equipment reliability by reducing machine downtime and unscheduled maintenance. Reporting to the Facilities Manager and serving as an active member of our Maintenance & Engineering team. This will be accomplished through the following task:

? Program Leader for Preventive Maintenance Programs

? Program Leader for Predictive Maintenance Programs (vibration analysis, ultrasonic inspection, lubrication, etc.)

? Maintenance effectiveness evaluations: Trend and analyze performance data and maintenance history

? Maintenance planning/scheduling: Develop and implement systems for scheduling and documenting the performance of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and calibrations.

? Root Cause Failure Analysis ? develop and direct action plans

? Devises new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles

? Capital project creation/management

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing facility, chemical plant experience preferred

  • Results oriented process driven team leader with exceptional organizational skills.

  • Strong safety background ?PSM experience preferred

  • Thorough maintenance background including:

    • Predictive Technologies

      • Vibration Analysis (ability to interpret vibration spectrum)

      • Tribology, Infra Red and Ultrasonic Programs

    • Preventive Maintenance

      • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems

      • Planning and Scheduling

      • PM Optimization a plus

    • Hydraulics

      • Reading schematics

      • Troubleshooting

    • Root Cause Failure Analysis

    • Additional Plus:

      • Machine Design

        • Solid mechanics, stress analysis, machine dynamics

      • Material Science

        • Grain structures, heat treatment, corrosion/erosion

  • Proficiency in reading and understanding technical manuals and engineering documentation

  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively

  • Ability to manage and control cost

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills

  • Strong computer skills ? AutoCad, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project

  • Able to travel up to 10% (some overnight required)


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
