Position
Summary:
The Warehouse Parts Puller/Runner is responsible for pulling and running parts/supplies from the warehouse to the production floor.
Key
Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the plant receives their parts, as expected, in a timely manner Works within the warehouse functions of the warehouse management system such as pulling kits, viewing items, and keeping the production floor stocked with necessary parts needed to perform their duties.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations and housekeeping guidelines General housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the warehouse Performs related duties as required Physical Requirements:
May be required to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold Minimum Requirements/
Qualifications:
Ability to add and subtract numbers on a frequent basis for verifying inventory counts Successful experience in a fast-paced work environment, ability to multi-task Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team Must possess effective interpersonal skills Must possess strong verbal, written communication and reading skills in English to read documents, complete paper documentation, follow written instruction, prioritize work, and ask questions Must be able to maintain the production pace of other team members Benefits offered:
